[ It's not pleasant, knowing that Apollon is going to be suffering for longer than he should but... they both want what's best for him. ]

Me too. [ His own worry should absolutely be obvious to Akira considering there's a lot of it. ] I'm not even sure how much of what I know about my world's Apollo is true for this one but we could be dealing with something that's been lingering inside of him for thousands of years. So we'll just have to tread carefully with this.

Maybe being able to help us will help him. Sometimes being able to be useful can be a positive thing for people.

Yeah... [He wonders what could have happened to the god. Every time he thinks about him, he almost feels sick with worry. His state had been concerning, to say the least. He lets out a hard breath.] I'm usually pretty direct in my approach, but maybe this requires something more subtle. I'm not sure, since he already knows I want to help and he seems to be determined not to get it. [But then, he'd let Akira bring him to the room. Let him help put him to sleep. Maybe on the surface he didn't want help, but deep down, he craved it. Just nodding in agreement to the last part.]

[ Apollon likely has a lot of history - as most gods do. If these ones are anything like the ones from his world, they'll also be extremely set in their ways. ]

We may have a tough battle on our hands, trying to out-stubborn a god. But I feel we're up to the task considering who we've had to deal with already.

[ It seems like Apollon wants help but is holding himself back from getting it. Nico knows what that's like. ]

Especially considering that the only one that can really decide if he'll let us help him is him.

[They can force themselves on him all they want, but unless Apollon is ready to accept help, none of it will get through.

Not sure I like the idea of being a "mule". I'd accept a horse, pegasus or hellhound.

Well, both are in their own ways. But you can ask Percy for more insight on pegasi seeing as how he can understand them.

The horses thing seems kind of random, given all his other stuff seems water-related.

Poseidon created horses so he can understand them. As can his descendants.
